If tomorrow I “accidentally” shot my neighbors with a gun stolen from a cop, or, “worse”, my own gun, I would be hung by the antigun crowd.
So it is not Ok in liberal lands to shoot with your own gun, but fine to steal one from a cop...

The gun was stolen from a law enforcement officer's car. By the time the case got to the courtroom, the defense claimed that the animal tripped over the weapon just lying in the street and it accidentally just went off...
