a very appropriate and carefully stated comment...
Forget it Mr. President, it’s San Francisco.
He’s right.
Spot on tweet.
Yes. No Amnesty!
But, but, but...Zarate’s attorneys got out in front of this to admonish the President. Therefore, President Trump should have been duly silenced from comment. /GAG
Right on President Trump, right on.
Watching for his next tweet. What he should do is demand congress send Kate’s Law to his desk tomorrow to sign, to issue an executive order barring US government from hold new business, meetings, or travel to any sanctuary city or state. Further, maybe help arm US citizens via National Reprocity legislation.
President Trump do something !!!
He’s been deported 6 times. Make him do enough time on the felony gun charge to get the wall built.
President Trump, this is an abomination.
There is no word to describe the extent of how heinous this is.
It’s time to act.
Equivalent to the OJ verdict. In both case, jury nullification...they knew the guy was guilty, but wanted to ‘send a message’ - to Trump in this case.
One problem though - they played right into Trump’s hands, and just in time for the shutdown.
Now we get to read about how Trump's tweet is an attempt to undermine the rule of law, and then we get to ignore that nonsense.
If there was ever a case where the federal government should step in with civil rights charges, this is it.
He is 100% right on.
some comments on articles have hashtags #Kates Wall #Build Kates Wall. I sure hope this miscarriage of justice helps spark more people into action to get these illegal aliens out and build the wall.
My President speaks for me, and millions like me who have no voice in the fake-news-media.
Disgraceful verdict? Absolutely!
Build the WALL? Absolutely!
Perhaps now we might even refer to it as...
...Kate's Wall!
.
Perhaps they’re not so much mad at illegal aliens as those Americans, politicians, law enforcement, and employers who enable and harbor them, violating the law and/or their oaths of office.
The jury had to believe the story of a man with a history of lawbreaking (multiple deportations), who had by chance “found” a gun, and then “accidentally” it went off while accurately pointed at Ms. Steinle.
Not a single juror stepped up to say “BS”.
The blue states are in open rebellion to the Trump admin and what’s left of the rule of law. Scary to watch how politicized the courts have become. Not good. Not good at all.
There has been talk over years about the jury of peers not being efficient and the introduction of a schooled jury or professional jury. At first I thought that would be a bad idea, but after this and the Menendez fiasco, I think now that plan should be researched.
Very depressing.
