Former Alaskan Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin says the illegal alien acquitted of fatally shooting 32-year-old Kate Steinle in the sanctuary city of San Francisco, California, in 2015, was given “more rights, grace and favor” than his victim and her family.

In an interview with a local news station in 2015, Lopez-Sanchez confessed that he sought out San Francisco because it was a sanctuary city that would not deport him from the U.S.
“Sanchez said he knew San Francisco was a sanctuary city where he would not be pursued by immigration officials,” the local report added.
Members of Congress like Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said they were distraught by the news that the illegal alien had been found not guilty of Steinle’s murder, blaming sanctuary city laws that allowed Lopez-Sanchez to remain in the U.S.

I strongly suspect this is disturbing even to a large number of Democrats. A small number of them have begun to realize that you can’t always win just by always hating or insulting your opponent.
I know it’s wrong, but if I were her father I think I’d hire someone to just “take care of this”. And not in a quick or easy way.

Sarah’s right. This is a cause for celebration in “progressive” circles.
Those jurors in San Francisco should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t know how they live with themselves after ensuring that there is not justice for Kate Steinle or her family. My heart bleeds for the Steinles tonight.
This is progressivism at its “finest.” This obscenity is what “progressives” call compassion. Progressives lack compassion and tolerance. Their self-aggrandizement is all that matters.
We must pass Kate’s Law.
I truly wish all the tax-paying citizens would leave CA and see how they survive with all the blood-suckers still wanting their stuff.
That verdict was a travesty of justice and the Steinle family should sue him in a civil case, as the families of the slain in the Simpson case did.
Good thing that freeloader didn’t kill a seal.
