The plasma Anderson used was stored in a thick glass bottle and kept in a kit with IV lines and distilled water. The medic has to pour the water into the bottle, swirl it around and inject it.

Blood clotting is a multi-step process. QuikClot contains a mineral that speeds up the steps that are taken in the clotting cascade. Plasma contains fibrinogen, one of the last step in the dang whole process.
Worked a year as a undergrad student in a hospital’s coagulation lab. (Also spent time in a blood bank.) I think porcine plasma would be a great addition to a Blow Out Kit.
