Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) said Trump had "been one of the best presidents" he served under.
Hatch said, "I'm not aware of it. I don't pay much attention to his tweets. I'll say this for you. He's been one of the best presidents I've served under. And the reasoning is, he's not afraid to make decisions. He's not afraid to take on the the big mouths around here."

Since when do Senators “serve under” a president?
Wow! If he’s not on drugs, this is an amazing turn-around...
Great, except the Legislative Branch doesnt serve under the Executive Branch. Congress serves the American People with the President.
We all serve God and country - Trump is the leader of the country. Why the nitpick?
Never-Trump to anti-Trump to maybe-sometimes-Trump to pro-Trump
The tide has turned, rinos fall in line noting Trump is not going away and is winning...they are now sprinting to catch the train and jump on...the train’s nick name is, “Me, Too!”
Reading tea leaves, perhaps? Up for re-election?
I hope he's talking about McCain, but there are so many to choose from.

“Reading tea leaves, perhaps? Up for re-election?”
Orrin Hatch is up for re-election next year and I believe his Utah Mormon Base will return him to the Senate if he chooses to run. Hatch presents a problem for Conservatives in that if he decides not to run, Mitt Romney will most likely run and win. With statements like this one, and with Mittens waiting in the wings, I’m beginning to see the “wisdom” of yet another term for Hatch.
“Senator, you’re not afraid of making decisions either. It’s just too bad you’ve made so many wrong ones. (Liberty Score 27%). You see, without a sound mind, courage is a detriment. “
...yes, the unintelligent but industrious ones!
Exactly!
I have to give Orrin credit for speaking up.
Sounds like Orrin has decided to run for another term.
It must be reelection time!
Not a good comment. He did not have to say it this way, which is remarkable given that he also served with Reagan. When credit is deserved, it should be given.
Orin Hatch has “served under” way too many Presidents.
“Served with” would be a more accurate statement.
