would allow workers in the fast food and retail industries to deduct money from their paychecks and direct them to advocacy groups, akin to the privileges labor unions have with their members. Why do they have to deduct money from their paychecks to do this? Why can't employees donate when and what they want, if anything?
I never want to work in a job where I have to donate to an "advocacy" group to keep it.
