There was a link to this on Drudge. I watched the one-minute White House video (yes, I was bored).
I “get” what Melania was doing. The white decorations combined with the lights give the “feel” of snow, of winter, of Christmas but also of warmth. There is, or used to be, a purity to this time of year that is best represented by brightness and light.
So I can see where liberals missed the point in that they revel in everything dark and miserable.
The cold cursing the warmth for which it hungered.
While “Bulverism” is no longer practiced solely by liberals, they ARE still its LEADING practitioners.....
It was the Nutcraker Suite used as a background theme . . . of course the props matched the setting.
Amazing that they could not like it. Personally, I thought it was one of the most splendid and beautiful Christmas decorating jobs I have ever seen. It looks like a complete crystal fantasyland and I can see why the kids were wowed by it (and by her).
I also liked the beautiful Neapolitan Nativity Scene they used.
But we must never forget that the left hates beauty. And goodness. It’s just how they are.
