Dead geckos in your slippers? Not the place one wants to find “presents”. LOL

And you probably won’t.

We’ve lost a lot of cats over the years and I still miss all of them.

Critter hold a special place in our hearts.

Uh oh...
I’ve created a monster!
I gave him the empty ice cream box to see what he would do.
(There was just a little bit of ice cream left)
Of course, he loved it!
LOL

I didn’t know if he’d gotten the shots earlier this week or not. At least after tomorrow, y’all can make an appointment to get the rest dealt with. :-)

Yes, it’s always something with kittehs. Getting his ears cleaned could keep you from having a worse problem to deal with. Lessa was favoring one of her ears and they looked clean so I didn’t think much of it. Then she turned up with an ear infection. I have ear wash and ear drops on hand and took care of it but she wasn’t happy about it at the time. She’s a happy girl now since her ear is better.

I didn’t dare to use them on him.

Sounds like the work is just beginning at the museum.

You don't know what an understatement that is. LOL! It's going to take a year or more to get everything up from Tupelo and get things on display. They're already working on plans to add on to the building because they're going to need a lot more room. This is going to be an ongoing thing for quite a while. It's a brand new museum and like the rest, it'll keep growing as time goes on.

There was one other gal there when I arrived but she had to leave at noon. She and I worked on the uniforms while the two guys dealt with other items.

Remind your hubby to pick up a bottle of ear wash when he takes Tigermaus in tomorrow. Then you’ll have it on hand for future use.
Some things are ok for both but if you haven’t asked the vet about it, better safe than sorry for sure.

Glad someone showed else up even if it was just for 1/2 a day! I’m sure they must be overwhelmed by the generosity of that guy in MS....but hard to coordinate all that stuff at once!

It will end up making that museum a very big deal for people who love all things military!

I stuck a few more pix from the museum into Fotki for posting. Just a few of the displays that give an idea of how they're showing things off. Lots of little items to go with the vehicles, which makes for more interesting views for the people who tour the place. When the museum first opened, it was just some vehicles. Then they bought the collection in Tupelo. Here we go....

It’s looking really good! Nice to have “tableaus” rather than just thrown willy-nilly around the room! It tells a story of each era.

Hey, I was there for a half day too. LOL! She was there before I was and we overlapped for just a short time.

The MS collection wasn’t donated. The museum bought it. But they did get it for a WHOLE lot less than he was originally asking.

No way it can be coordinated all at once. It’s just unbelievable how much that man amassed over 50+ years. I was overwhelmed by what I saw when we went down there and there are two buildings full that I didn’t even peek into. LOL!

The goal IS to make this museum a big deal. The cool thing is that it covers all branches of the military, where a lot only cover one.
It’s going to be fun watching it grow.
