Randy Levine has never been shy about speaking his mind--especially when money is on the table. The Yankees president has become known for boasting about his team--or against certainly players (Dellin Betances) when he feels it's necessary. The latest to feel the wrath of Levine: President Donald Trump.

Mr. Levine has the right to voice his opinion. The Yankees boss voted for Trump, and he is worried.

“The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance!” (please read the date this was published)

“But there seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously — after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important… so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be both ignorant and sub-literate every time he opens his mouth. (Most of his fans were just as ignorant and unlettered; the disease was spreading.)”

I get that. But how about a clue? Just a little tidbit what his beef is before a delve into a liberal website.

I don't particularly like Randy Levine, but a lot of his comments are spot-on.

This isn't a Donald Trump tax reform plan. It's a GOP establishment tax reform plan.

The establishment Republicans will kill this just like they have killed every bill rather than give President Trump a victory. Give me 1 example of a bill pushed by the President that has passed. The only weapon Trump has is executive orders, and they only pass after the courts back him. Ryan and McConnell are a major roadblock to getting anything of substance passed.

I’ll be sure and validate the tax plan with my local little league batting coach, too.

Trump isn’t involved. This is the works of the House and the Senate. Trump hasn’t signed anything yet so why is all this on him? Me thinks someone doesn’t know the federal government processes.

This bill would not be a Trump victory. That’s Levine’s point. For Trump, signing this bill would be like building a five-foot pile of sand along our southern border and calling it a wall.

Does he realize that it isn’t the President’s plan until he signs it into law?

“Levine is a scumbag!”

He’s a “Weinstein’s person” worrying that Trump may step on his wallet!
