I remember feeling a strange personal bond with my first car. A ‘78 Toyota Corolla hatchback. Not real pretty, but as faithful as a dependable mechanism can be. That girl got me from point A to B from the time that I was 17 till my mid 20’s. She always ran a little hot but never blew up on me. No matter how much I neglected keeping her clean and smelling fresh, she was always there for me....until...I got married and my wife didn’t like her always being in the driveway.
