While Pelosi backtracked away from her defense of Conyers a day earlier, CNN reporter MJ Lee noted on Twitter that Pelosi doesn't include anything in her statement about what the repercussions should be for Conyers.

Of course -- she's a mealy-mouthed partisan liar. Her Sunday talk show fiasco should have led to loud angry calls for HER resignation -- but the Demwits will protect her just as they'll all protect Conyers, just by saying and doing nothing.

There’s a committee living in Nancy Pelosi’s head and they’re constantly fighting over whose turn it is to drive.

These are elected liberal Democrats constantly touting their tolerance and compassion for every misfit and weirdo slithering under a rock.

Most of them support the Violence Against Women Act.

Yet, their own female staffers fear them.
