First lady Melania Trump on Monday ripped a report in which a longtime friend told Vanity Fair that she didn’t want to be the first lady “come hell or high water.”
“Once again part of the liberal media, this time Vanity Fair, has written a story riddled with unnamed sources and false assertions. As a magazine tailored to women it is shameful that they continue to write salacious and false stories meant to demean Mrs. Trump, rather than focus on her positive work as First Lady as a supportive wife and mother,” a spokeswoman for Trump said in a statement to CNN.
“As has been stated on the record many times before, she is honored by her role,” the spokeswoman added

I think Trump is being honest when he said that she told him, “if you run, you’ll win”. That doesn’t sound like someone that didn’t want to be first lady.
Although she did like all the perks.
I think the whole “food thing” she supposedly came up with, was handed to her so she could have something to push outside the White House.
Being bored and feeling slighted, they came up with this “sure winner” to feed her ego and prevent a full-on melt down.

And it’s common knowledge that DJT has had his eye on the White House for 20-30 years. There’s no way he didn’t discuss this possibility during the time they were dating. If she truly thought she’d have a problem with the role, she wouldn’t have married him.
She’s doing a wonderful job in her position, and seems to be having a lot of fun with it, too. She’s become comfortable with this stage of her life.

I think it must be difficult to be targeted as Melania and Barron have been. If Melania had an inkling that was possible, she might have been reluctant.
Still, even if she was initially uncertain, she’s responded like a trooper. She’s been a star in the role, IMO.
If our lovely Melania didn’t want to be First Lady, she is one hell of a trooper.
Our First Lady has more than risen to the occasion and given us innumerable reasons to be proud. She’s no spoiled diva, though she certainly could be.
Melania remembers what it was like to live without our precious freedoms. She loves this country so much more than too many who were born here.

The left is always fighting the last war. Whatever their adored Democrat did in the last administration, they suddenly denounce about this Administration, even if it is patently false, like this ludicrous claim.
By her choice she was a world class beautiful model. Now she gets to be a very beautiful model not just on the outside, but also for her inner qualities of love, gentleness and modesty. She has a great calling. She is doing excellently. She is serving her LORD in this capacity. I am sure she is humbled and grateful.

It is so wonderful having a truly beautiful, kind and gracious woman like Melania as FLOTUS.
