Susan Sarandon believes that a Hillary Clinton presidency would have been just as "dangerous" as the controversy-riddled Trump administration and that the U.S. "would be at war" had she won the election.
In an interview with The Guardian, the actress and activist said she didn't regret her comments before and since the election that a Clinton presidency would be a disaster for progressive issues. “I did think she was very, very dangerous. We would still be fracking, we would be at war [if she was president]. It wouldn’t be much smoother. Look what happened under Obama that we didn’t notice.”
Due to her strident opposition to the Democratic presidential candidate and her support first for Bernie Sanders in the primaries and then for Jill Stein on election day, Sarandon said she faced relentless abuse, death threats and misogynistic attacks from Clinton supporters and others on the political left.
“I got from Hillary people ‘I hope your crotch is grabbed,’ ‘I hope you’re raped.’ Misogynistic attacks. Recently, I said ‘I stand with Dreamers' and that started another wave," Sarandon told the Guardian adding that people on the left blamed her for Clinton's loss directly.

Susan and I are a world apart in our political views, but she is absolutely correct in her assessment of Hillary.
We would be in a world with Russia by now.

While I don’t give much credit to Susan Sarandon, I’ve got to give credit where credit is due. She knows Hillary Clinton quite well, in every sense. If she says Hillary is dangerous and we’d be at war had she been elected, she knows what she’s talking about. For once.
My idea of Hell is being locked in a room with both Hillary Clinton and Susan Sarandon.
The truth about the 2016 election is that Hillary Clinton would have been identical to George W. Bush on at least 95% of the issues. I've said all along that Trump won because a lot of Democrats had no interest in seeing Clinton carrying on the globalist/corporatist legacy of GWB.

Herself would have blundered into a war with little or no preparation, and would have led what remains of the territory once known as “:the United States of America” into a balkanization consisting of small and largely ineffectual republics which may or may not have been based on existing political boundaries.
Yeah, all the lefties screaming about Trump getting us into “a war” somehow seem to ignore that we were in multiple wars during the entire Obama presidency.
Any country that did’t pay their “protection money” into the Clinton Foundation accounts would be declared a terrorist state and military action would result.

Not a fan, but I do give her credit for being honest about Hillary and busting out the hypocrisy of her supporters.
