There have been several posts here on FR lately covering this general subject. Liberals have made it their “life’s work” to be “offended” about anything and everything. As a consequence of being involved in planning high school reunions for my HS Class (1958), our committee has had the misfortune of having to put up with two classmates who are married to each other who are both raving Liberals ( worse yet he’s a now retired lawyer). It is absolutely amazing what sorts of things set them off. The are both white, and probably don’t have any Black friends, but to watch the two of them going off on “racial inequality” tangents at the drop of a hat is a hoot!

Maybe you need to pass out baby passifiers/blinkies to the rest of the class. And whenever the couple throws a 2 year old fit, a classmate can pass a blinkie to them. If the supply of blinkies were sizeable, the idiot couple might at least end up humiliated.

It's hard--very hard, in most cases, to resist a room full of people in unity against your construction on reality.
