Facebook says they will let its users know if they liked Russian-linked election propaganda
ABC "News" ^ | November 22, 2017 | by Andrea Miller

Facebook announced they are making a portal that will allow users to find out if they liked pages or followed Instagram accounts made by the Internet Research Agency, the Russian internet company that was outed as a troll farm after the 2016 election.

The portal will provide a database of those potential pages and accounts that would have been liked or followed between January 2015 and August 2017, before and after the 2016 election.

“This is part of our ongoing effort to protect our platforms and the people who use them from bad actors who try to undermine our democracy,” Facebook wrote in a press release announcing the tool.

It will not show specific ads or posts that users may have seen. It will only show the pages and accounts a user has liked or followed that have been linked to Russian meddling.

So if Zuckerberg can tell you which forbidden information you like, then Zuckerberg can keep a record of who is liking forbidden information.

If it helped defeat Clinton in even a very small way I’m entirely supportive of Russia. If voters are dumb asses and change their vote based on facebook ads they don’t deserve the right to vote to begin with.

You can report articles as “fakenews” now.

Will Fakebook be revealing which users also fell for fraudulent reports by MSNBC and other disrespected “news” sources?

I know that at least a FEW articles that “sidebar trended” had to be stricken (such as the BS edited tape from the koi fish feeding report).

Face books business model is selling TARGETED advertising down to the user level. They have user data up the wazoo.

Are yous serious. As much as I believe in Russian hacking and trolls, Facebook purple hair sensor nazis are the biggest troll enabler on facebook supressing genuine content discussions and instead supporting disruptors and personal attacks.

Facebook is demonic troll central

Facebook is going after the “rapist” but not after the rape industry of trolls who abort threads with personal attacks and ad hominem attacks.

They should be the ones banned, but instead they ban topics.

For months, Facebook has been manipulating the posts you see on your News Feed if you use Facebook. They have a Most Recent and a Top Stories link from which to choose what you see in your News Feed. When I click on Most Recent posts, I expect to see what my Friends have posted most recently. But for months, those stories are a mishmash of things that may have been posted a week ago. When I click on Top Stories, I get the things that people have commented on most. I have some conservative friends and family. I do not see all of their posts anymore. It makes no sense unless Facebook is deliberately censoring what posts are seen in news feeds.

I agree. Facebook is NOT the Free Press. There is a privacy issue associated with what they are doing.

And the assumption is that if I gave a "like" I was "influenced" to vote for Trump....when in fact, it's more than likely that I was ALREADY a Trump voter and the thumbs up was merely an acknowledgement that I had read the "article".

The only good propaganda is their propaganda. Seriously, I don’t trust any of those alphabets, and I don’t even trust anybody in congress anymore. They’re all foreigners as far as I’m concerned. It’s all about grabbing power, wealth and privilege, not about public service.

Person of Interest was a crime thriller series, created by Jonathan Nolan and broadcasting on CBS.

It started when reclusive billionaire Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) recruits former CIA special forces agent John Reese (Jim Caviezel) to investigate social security numbers of people who are about to be involved in violent incidences.

In a critical scene after about 3 years of the show, Finch told Reese that when he first invented his machine, individual data was often hard to get.

Then, when social media hit the internet and expanded, there was too much self entered data by individuals posting anything and everything about their personal lives.

Here they are not using it for marketing (unless the product they are selling is Hitlery Rotten Clinton’s coup).

They are using it actively to push a political agenda (and even said in 2014 or so that they would be partnering with ABC News to cover the election ‘trends’).

Fakebook has been exposed playing with your “feed” (what you are seeing from your online “friends”), for example all negative news, all positive news, etc. Psychological warfare and experiments.
