President Trump may go down as one of the greatest Presidents ever. Mitch and Paul will go down as losers.

Author’s list is far short of complete. He should add:
* HUGE diplomacy wins in the Middle East and Asia.
* Pulled us out of that God-Awful “Paris Accords” global baloney fake treaty.
* Got the Keystone pipeline going again.
* Decimated ranks of careerists at Dept of State and EPA
* Installing conservative federal judges everywhere
* Stopping bad immigration policy, e.g., temporarily stopping people coming here from hostile lands; ending Haitian “temporary” visas; forcing Congress to put an end to DACA or legalize it; ending spousal work permits for visa holder
* Ending subsidies to “sanctuary” cities
And ALL OF THIS without one bit of conventional Republican support. The man is already a legend in my book.
Congratulations, President Trump. Keep rocking the damned boat.
The biggest failures so far are not shrinking the government and the utterly ridiculous proposed tax overhaul. Tax reform should be used as a way to SHRINK government and reduce taxes on everybody. Instead, the GOPe is making it revenue-neutral, thus hurting the middle class while helping businesses, underclass, and elites. Not good.

“One Year Out and Donald Trump Is a Rock Star”
He rates higher than any “Rock Star” out there today. Let’s just say he’s an American hero, shall we?

#1 Oshkalaboomboom wrote ~ Trump has increased jobs, reduced illegal immigration, cut regulations, driven ISIS out of its cities, turned around the Supreme Court, finally fixed the worst flaws in the Veterans Administration and given Americans hope in their future. In terms of draining the swamp? He has been relentless, with pressure on both political parties. The stock market is at an all-time high. Unemployment is at a 17 year low. "The problem with such analysis is that historians and academics cheat. They can be agonizingly subjective." The truth is objective; and the Truth shalt set ye free - MAGA! Via et Veritas, et Vita!

He is not the best communicator and seems to have some serious staffing issues.
That aside, I just look at what he has accomplished and it there is nothing comparable except maybe Coolidge, but they had way different challenges then.

Good points re. Trump. As for FDR, time for this idiot to reconsider:
Did he have a great legislative record? Did the economy grow? Did he impact the Supreme Court? Did he change the executive branch, for example, add new cabinet posts? Did he wage and win a popular war? Did he give us soaring rhetoric that can be inscribed on marble somewhere?
Or how about this: Was he NOT a frigging socialist?
