The British singer Morrissey defended both Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein in an interview this weekend, claiming their alleged victims knew “exactly” what was going on — and chose to “play along.”
“Afterward, they feel embarrassed, or they do not like it,” Morrissey said while speaking to the German news outlet Der Spiegel.

“People know exactly what’s going on,” Morrissey reportedly said after being asked about the movie producer. “And they play along…But if everything went well, and if it had given them a great career, they would not talk about it.”

And all of these people belittled and laughed at Pence for his misogynistic stance on being alone with any woman other than his wife.

Agree...I’ve been saying the same about the Republican accusers. If their experiences were SO TRAUMATIC, then why didn’t they go to the police at the time, or at least document a complaint with their company (or government)?
I knew who he was in the ‘80s via a friend of mine. I wasn’t sure exactly which side he was on because of piss poor editing on the newspaper’s part. It’s obvious he doesn’t have his eyes closed to how homos are treated in muslim countries.
1. It's not like the casting couch was an unknown to up and coming actors. Of course they knew what could happen.

Not to defend the behavior of our crop of sexual predators, but women can’t claim that they’re equal to men if they allow themselves to be rolled over by men.
I think most women can figure out what a man us up to before they get themselves where they don’t want to be.
I imagine most women steer clear of situations they don’t want to get into.
What about the women who allow themselves to be sucked into those situations.
And just to demo a little more reality....
The Chaplain at our all Girl's Catholic High School....suddenly left....with one of the nuns.....and they got married. So was she groped?? Duh...
On the other hand, most of the Democrats that have been accused have supporting sexual harassment laws that were unjust on their face, and followed the herd in stating that women do not lie about these things.
So I cannot feel sorry for them, and as long as conservatives are subject to these attacks, they should be also.
It would be good to go back to a standard where proof should be provided, but until it does we play by they same rules they do.
I didn’t go to police when my cousin sexually molested me when I was just five years old. I was too young to understand exactly what he did to me. I figured it out many years later.
My brother in law tried to rape me when I was about 12. I told my sister, his wife, she laughed. She was my babysitter. He is a creep. He was in his early 20s. I didn’t go to police. My sister threatened me that she would ruin MY reputation by making up lies about me and boys. I was a little kid. Boys didn’t like me and I was way too young to date. No, I didn’t go to the police. If I had, he would have gone to prison. I thought I was his only victim.
Found out recently that he tried the same thing with my younger sister.
I was always afraid of him. Now he has lost both legs due to diabetes. Karma?
