AUSTIN - Texas Democrat Julian Castro confirmed Sunday he is seriously considering running for president in 2020, and former state Sen. Wendy Davis left open the possibility she will take another run at the governor's seat in 2018. "I might," Castro told more than 350 people at a political conference near the University of Texas on Sunday morning. Davis' comments came at the same event.

He or his brother were supposedly on Hilary’s short list for VP running mate. That didn’t happen. He’s not known for much else, other than being very progressive and palling around with La Raza types.

I know this — he has 2 legs up for the dem nomination (sorry, don’t try to visualize this). They CAN’T nominate a white man, that’s a given. But he has 1) gay cred and 2) the hispanic card.
Now that America is officially a banana republic, somebody named Castro would be a perfect fit. The Russkis would love it.

Apparently Castro and Davis believe that enough Californians and Mexicans will relocate to Texas by 2020 to turn it blue.
This is awesome news. Once Michele announces her candidacy, Castro will be forced aside and the hispanic anger that their turn was unfairly spoiled will ignite. The democrat party has built itself out of angry partisan interest-groups, each thinking they should be in charge.

He’s angling for the #2 spot on the ticket behind Kamala Harris. It’s a done deal that Kamala is getting the nomination. She has more legs up than Fidel...I mean “Julian.”
