Jeffrey Tambor appears to be parting ways with Transparent. In a statement issued Sunday, the actor said he doesn’t see how he can return to the acclaimed Amazon series in the wake of allegations that he sexually harassed two women....
Tambor, who has won two Emmy awards on the series for his lead role as a transgender woman who comes out late in life, has been accused of harassment by Transparent guest star Trace Lysette as well as a former assistant.

Sadly, Jeffrey Tambor ONCE UPON A TIME did some good work. He played a great villain in the film version of The Grinch who Stole Christmas, and he was legendary as Hank in "The Larry Sanders Show". Sorry to see he went off the deep end.
Can’t be surprised by anything in Hollywierd. Enjoyed this guy’s work in Arrested Development. Just another freak.

I have always enjoyed Tambor's scene-stealing characters and cameos.
Now I think he must be completely guilty as charged.
He quits, loses all of that good will and fan appreciation built up over the past 40 years, and slinks away into obscurity.
Why would he do that, unless there are probably more (maybe worse) shoes to drop?

Expect this to continue. They have whipped up this whirlwind and now what goes around is finally coming around to Hollywood. Be careful what you encourage and celebrate.
Eventually, it will get so bad that only PC storylines and entertainers will be able to work. And, like the NFL, their ratings (and profits) will plummet.
Yes Tambor played some good roles in his career. This role is beyond moronic. I have never watched that show for the same reason I will quit watching any show that attempts to put in some ignorant Gay, Transgender subplot that has nothing to do with the plot whatsoever and ends up spoiling the entire show all together.
So exactly who is this? This person is a transgender? Well better looking that Tambor’s character.
Goes by the name Trace Lysette. Xy chromosomes who thinks he has 2 x chromosomes. Mental.
Wasn’t he in that movie with Dolly Parton called 9to5? Oh wait that’s Dabney Coleman who I always thought was the same guy as as Jeffrey Tamboor.
If you search for a more closeup image of the face, it is pretty obviously a man. The chin and jaw muscles, especially.
The plastic surgery is good, but without the makeup and female accoutrements, this guy is gonna look like just a guy who had some work done.
Men like this try so hard and it makes me wonder why. What are they getting out of it? Autogynephilia must be a huge sexual thrill for them to make it worth the effort. That level of self absorption is mind boggling. They’d be better off figuring out how to be happy with what they have and focusing something other than themselves.
He’s in my HOF just for “The Larry Sanders Show”, which is in my top 5-ish favorite shows of all time.
