Hubby went in the Navy in 1960-1980, was part of Operation Frequent Wind aboard the USS Midway that pulled the AMB out, and off the coast of Cuba during the Missile Crisis, rest of the time he either taught or fixed Flight Deck electronics. Ret as a SCPO after 20 yrs.
Had quite a few male cousins drafted. 1 still limps from a shattered knee.
