He should have stayed home.

The last several years, progressive publications have advocated taking over family holidays as a means to preach to their captive audiences. I haven't seen that this year. In fact I have seen a little of the opposite. I don't mind someone from our side, or nearly so, fighting back, because maybe people will just give up and have a family get together like it is supposed to be.
