I was briefed back in the early '90s in the military about Facebook and Twitter and their security risk and government uses.

Interesting, because Facebook began in 2004, and Twitter in 2006.

And the creators of both of those sites went to college courses with some of the pilots who served as 'Supervisors of Flying' in some of the control towers that I worked it, in the USAF.
Their ideals and plans were know, well before their products went "On-Line".

According to Yosemitest, his pilot buddies in the USAF took college courses with the inventors of Facebook and Twitter. Of course, at the time he was “briefed” in the “early ‘90s” the guy that invented Facebook was 10-ish and the guy that invented Twitter was still in high school. I doubt Yosemitest was even in the military, based on his terminology, but that’s speculation. What is a fact is that he’s lying about having knowledge of those technologies in the “early ‘90s”. He’s probably from Kenya. Or North Korea. Or he tells these tales in bars to pick up Leigh-Corfman-types.
