"Franken was re-elected to a second term in 2014. He won the primary election, in which he faced the challenger Sandra Henningsgard, on August 12, 2014, with 94.5% of the vote.[79] He won the general election against the Republican candidate, Mike McFadden, with 53.2% of the vote.[80][81] "

Franken has been forgiven for that election matter.

The left has thrown Al Franken under the bus with cold political calculation. He can not win reelection due to his now known depravity. A new and “clean” democrat might but a Republican stands a better chance. The left is also throwing the Clinton’s under the bus for Bill’s sexual depravity. The Clintons are just collateral damage in the lefts new found morality. This morality has a very short expiration date.

By doing this they equate known depravity verses false accusations against Roy Moore.

This is a win for the left if they pull it off. The Clintons are history anyway, Franken is no longer electable and perhaps they can destroy Roy Moore at the same time by finding their new morality until after next election at which time it is business as normal.
