They’re lucky the suspect made their jobs so easy. Many of these cases they find the suspects had changed their appearances ie; from long hair but clean shaven to shaved head with a beard etc.

Chin and ears - good. Lips, no way. Nose - his, narrow. Drawing - wider. Eyebrows toss up. Blue eyes - could be. Forehead - somewhat. Hairline - could be a major factor re similarity.

I think guilt spooked the killer more than the Phenotype being a real threat. However, it worked and society is safer for it.

If that’s what it took.

You might remember a few years ago the story of the perp who had a colander put on his head and was wired up, it appeared, to a lie detector that was really a copy machine.

The original document in the copier scanner said in large type, “He’s lying.”

When they’d goose the copier and receive the damning reports, the guy finally confessed.

How did they know his approximate age? Telomere length?

That’s important to know how they got the similarities so close and knew he wasn’t an old man who committed the crime.

Looks like a white guy with brown hair and blue eyes. That narrows it down to, I dunno, 50 million people.

Yes, tht was my first take on it, too. He doesn't look at all like the sketch. Except that he's a white guy. However...

In 2013, number and percentage of murder arrests by race were:

Black or African Americans 4,379 = 52.2%

White Americans (including Hispanic Americans) 3,799 = 45.3%

American Indians or Alaska Natives 98 = 1.06%

Asian Americans 101 = 1.2%

Inversely, the percentage of individuals in each racial demographic arrested for murder in 2013 was:

0.01% of Black or African American population (4,379/38,929,319)

0.0017% of White American and Hispanic American population (3,799/223,553,265)

So if they are searching for a murderer, and can determine that the murderer is a white guy, that is useful information.

Won’t be long before those who sacrifice the unborn don’t offer imaging from their DNA to create memory photos the way they do the ultrasounds.

How come DNA isn’t used to establish humanity to overturn the nation’s legal pre-born genocide?
