There are also people who aren’t cut out for that kind of life. I am not talking about snow flakes, either. Or the mentally ill. Military life isn’t for everyone and I don’t think the military will benefit from forcing them to join.
I could not agree more. Imagine any business, organization, or government agency, staffed with people who did not want to be there and did not have enthusiasm or qualifications.
The military is really the most important thing the fed gov does. It should only be staffed by those who want to be there and are qualified. No pervs, trans, mental cases, gang members, special rules for females, etc.
I know I'm not. I'm 32, which is probably too old to be drafted, but I also have medical disqualifiers, like epilepsy, and needing testosterone replacement for what my little guys aren't producing.
There are absolutely people like me out there. Literal zero energy that can't do basic.
