‘Literally Know Nothing’: Tucker Takes On Dem Over Banning MUZZLE LOADERS
The Daily Caller ^ | 11/16/17 | Justin Caruso

Posted on 11/17/2017 8:16:27 PM PST by Simon Green

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson took on a Democrat Thursday over a new gun control measure targeting muzzle loaders.

Carlson asked New York City Council member Jumaane Williams, “So how many crimes do you think in the last, I don’t know, 100 years have been committed with muzzle loaders?”

Williams answered, “Well, once this new muzzle is created, we just don’t know. But, what you do a great job in, and it works for you, so I’m not saying you should stop. You do a great job of focusing on these single things…”

Tucker responded, “Oh you mean the facts? Yeah that is kind of my trade.”

Williams said, “No, it’s not facts it’s just–avoidance of a conversation about guns. And you do it very well.”

The Daily Caller co-founder responded, “Well actually, I’d very much like to have a conversation about guns.”

“So here you have Gabby Giffords’ group saying that we need to regulate a rifle, a firearm, they clearly know nothing about,” the Fox host continued. “A muzzle loader is loaded from the muzzle, from the end of the barrel, from the hole where the bullet comes out, and you put it in the powder, and then the wadding, and then the round and the whole thing takes like a minute. So it’s not probably going to be responsible for a lot of mass shootings.”

My best time with my muzzle loader and my home made speed loader is 35 seconds.

Today’s classic example of the insanity brought on by liberalism.
Every single day they just outdo themselves from the day before.
It takes a real insane moron to do that.

And it got better.
He talked about these new "muzzle loaders with silencers so nobody can hear you shoot - and they fire .50 caliber bullets, that can, like, kill a man...."

Tucker makes the greatest faces when he gets frustrated.

Not to mention that we're speaking of a (insert dramatic music) .50 caliber weapon!

No one tell him about my .75 Brown Bess, 'kay?

What type of arms do Democrats think were available when the 2nd amendment was drafted?

Left and right, of course.

Hundreds in the 1800s but maybe one or two in the last 50 to 75 years.

He’s absolutely correct, and those blunderbuss muzzle loading firearms are absolutely the worst of the bunch. 8>)

Williams answered, “Well, once this new muzzle is created, we just don’t know..."

So the Libs are calling for new gun laws for muzzle loaders just because some small company just came out with a single shot muzzle loading, modern style, hunting rifle with a suppressor (silencer) installed on the end of the barrel. Yet, few if any have even been sold. Anyone who has actually fired a .50 cal black powder muzzle loader will tell you that it creates a loud boom with lots of flame and smoke which no suppressor could completely contain. And since when have criminals cared how loud their guns are when used in a crime?

An old man I once knew, a machinist, made a 110 caliber muzzle loader. He hunted elk, and could carry balls and powder for 3 rounds.

I shoot muzzle loaders and I know not one ml shooter who would want to silence the rifle.
Probably sell about 100 just like that stupid electric muzzle loader which had a computer board in the stock and was fired with spark plug.

“35 seconds”
Gabby & Co. would tell you that’s almost three shots a minute—practically semi-auto.
And if you bump the stock on the ground it’s a Slide-fire, black powder death machine.

The ignoramus “wants to have a conversation about guns”.

He’s late to the party.

We had the conversation.

We told him and his to #### off.

End of conversation.

I noticed that the guy was sporting a “Stay Woke” button.

Right then and there I knew this guy was an intellectual heavyweight.

I feared that he might call for confiscation of matchlocks. Then he would propose a 5 day waiting period to buy flint (after a background check of course).
