This is why the left has gone nuclear in the Alabama Senate race. They know that the femi-nazi Collins and Murkowski hags will never vote for a Justice who might overturn Roe. They were willing to play along with Gorsuch because it didn’t change the balance of the court. With Kennedy it would. So they are hoping to peel off the Alabama seat to make it a 51-49 Senate and then they can count on Murkoswki and Collins to protect the liberal Supreme Court. That’s what this is all about.

I see the point you are making and agree the SCOTUS is why they are going all out on AL senate election.
However...Mikulski is a rat and would never vote for a Trump replacement of Kennedy and that leaves Collins to vote no creating a 50-50 tie (in the world where AL senate seat flips) and Pence to cast deciding vote.
