The “goose” could have been a simple accident of not paying attention to where a person was going. Even inadvertently hitting her with the corner of brief case as one was rearranging self.

That happened to me one time. Nothing I could have said would have convinced her otherwise. It was a case of not much room to move rather than paying attention.
