I don’t think I ever bought that many. You know...you are singlehandedly keeping the USPS solvent.

I have no interest in such a “service” unless I’m allowed to decline delivery on the basis of a photo showing mail that I do not wish to receive. Then, it would actually be a “service” rather than a silly gold-plated attempt at remaining relevant cooked up by people who have no clue what the private sector wants or needs.

We’ve signed up for this. Not a big deal. It’s not like they’re opening the mail.

I always order the Madonna and child stamp for Christmas. They used to have a new one each year but now Christians don’t rate as much.

I use them for they are pieces of our Western Civ heritage.

Our post offices are busy and I love getting mail.

Why not? As a poster mentioned, the mail isn’t yours until it is in your hand, so why not have the post office open the mail for you. It is not like you own it, or your privacy or anything.

I miss getting things too. There is a little box under the image of each piece of mail that you can check if a piece doesn’t arrive. I’ve checked it and heard nothing.

Actually you DO own it. That would be tampering.

This system is NOT a violation of privacy. All it’s doing is leveraging a system already in place, and necessary to delivery 500 million items a day. It’s all from the barcode system, which allows for automatic sorting. Seeing this as a violation of privacy is pure paranoid silliness.
