Alabama is a States Rights kind of place. Its proud Confederate history and Southern culture have been under assault for a few years. AG Sessions was treated horribly in confirmation hearings.
I do hope Alabamans realize that this is about more than Roy Moore. It's about being robbed of their identity.

This is good. But even better would be to attack the Democrat while they are defending Moore. Something like — “Let’s not punish Alabamans with high taxes, aborted babies, and transgender taught to kindergarteners just because of because of Mitch McConner’s smears against a man who has been happily married for 35 years.”

Vote Moore now. If there are real problems he can be removed later. In his defense, it appears a document has been forged. Proof of one fake accusation suggests there are others.

Sanders said Trump wants the people of Alabama to decide if Moore should drop out, though she had no clear mechanism for how they would do that. She also said Trump supported the Republican National Committee’s decision to cut ties with the Moore campaign. President Trump is wrong on this one. He, and every conservative and every Republican, should give their full endorsement to Roy Moore. to keep the seat in the Republican column. They could add that if significant allegations are proven true in the future, the Alabama governor would appoint another temporary senate and schedule aother special election.
All these attempts at moral and ethical preening and half-assed endorsements just help the "choice until the moment of natural birth" Dim candidate. At this point, this is about holding onto the thin 52 -48 majority, and any other considserations can be taken up later, after the election.
