Twitter needs to realize social media sites have finite lifespans.

Only idiots could confuse “verification” with “endorsement.”

The verification check mark is simply so that users know an account is operated by the “real” person it claims to be. Since there are tons of fraudulent and spam accounts on Twitter, the verification check is useful to confirm (verify) existing public figures. This has nothing at all to do with “endorsement.”

This policy will not be applied to those who impugn White men.

Twitter is staffed with SJW—Cultural marxists. Their impulse is to ban and censor everyone they disagree with.

Not a good move for future viability as a money making venture but they don’t care. See the NFL as an example. These people are thoroughly brainwashed with a heaping helping of mental illness on top of it.

Why continue to patronize a monopoly of Ultraleftwing bay area corps and then whine when you discover that they persecute you for your conservative beliefs? Get off your butt and invent or support alternatives.

FYI, I have over 20,000 followers and do not have the verification check mark. Oh well.

Like Napoleon says “All animals are equal. Some animals are more equal than others.”

Twitter becomes Animal Farm.

Richard Spencer is more educated than the entire board of Twitter combined. Check his Wikipedia to see.

Twitter says it's addressing the "perception" of endorsement a blue checkmark confers. ... One item on the new list of reasons an account can lose verification cites promoting hate against certain races/nationality or supporting groups that do.

So they are "addressing the perception of endorsement" by confirming that is indeed an endorsement, as it can be revoked later if the person posts hate speech.

(“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”)
