My daughter (20 years-old)just the other day said something like “I know this is going to sound feminist - but it really bothers me all the guys trying to hit on me. Even wearing baggy sweatpants and an oversize T-shirt. And the old guys - that’s just creepy!”

I told her not all guys act like that (although most of us probably think it). Just try to ignore the jerks. Maybe try to come up with some quick responses.

Women doll themselves up to catch the eye of the guy they like, or the eyes of hawt or sought-after guys in general. Problem is, a lot of guys besides just the ones she wants to notice her, end up being attracted as well.

And I've had female nurses tell me the dirtiest jokes...I've ever heard...and talking about a patients anatomy hundreds of times...

I've had them rub up on me...when they could have not.....

So let's just say.....Claire McCaskill is a legacy Senator....and a joke.

Why in the hell she is still around...I'll never know.....

My daughter’s problem isn’t her looks so much (she’s pretty - but dresses down in sweats when she’s not at work) - it is because she is so cheerful and smiling and friendly.

One can't help but wonder how many of these women who have been coming forward went along, in politics, Hollywood and the corporate world, to gain advantages in their career. That's not harassment. The people that hurts is the more deserving women for those jobs who didn't go along for personal advantage.

A few decades ago, when the US still had a sense of humor, this was published in an interview (paraphrasing): Someone asked Angie Dickenson what she did when she walked by a construction site and the guys hooted at her. She replied "At my age, say thank you".

How many situations of "harassment" are best handled by humor and letting the guy know you're not interested? How many of these women were as outraged then as they are now? I'm sure some of the complaints are valid, but my gosh, this is spinning way out of control. There won't be any guys who will be able to escape unproven allegations, whether their true, false, or being judged with a whole lot of cultural appropriation.
