Many of his followers now glorify Stalin, as the Russian government bullies former Soviet holdings like Ukraine and Poland for wanting to tear down statues of Lenin, Dzerzhinsky, and other criminal terrorists — all the while claiming the mantle of Orthodox Christianity and lamenting the state of the degraded, secular West.
Well whatever is degraded and secular in the West can in large part trace their origins back to the VERY Soviet legacy, he so wishes to glorify and manipulate for his ends.
