JLL was more than a little creepy but I loved his piano.
Of course - but funny nevertheless.
Heck - even a lecherous old rake like Biden wouldn't make a pass at Hillary!
Or would he?

Well why not go back over 200 years! The Marquis de LaFayette of our Revolutionary War fame fell in love with his future wife at the age of 14. She was 12. Two years later they married. He was 16 and she was 14. They were faithful to each other all their lives. When she died, he was never without her portrait which he carried with him always. A true love story. It does happen.

Age of consent was 14 at the time in Alabama, some child marriages we’re allowed as young as 13. What Moore ‘may have done’ was not illegal at the time. In Alabama, it was common place. If I understand correctly, he wasn’t married then.
The libs have spent years trying to tell us that we shouldn’t judge the past by today’s standards. That the past should be looked at through the eyes of the times in which they happened. I fought with this in college because human moral standards change over time. I had a teacher in college who was trying to justify Adolff Hitler’s actions during ww2.
She looked at the world through the eyes of humanism while my perspective was more Christian based.
NOW we have people wanting to hand Moore from a short rope swinging from a short tree in an Alegator swamp for being a man of the times. A bit hippocritical, doncha think?
Then there’s Thomas Jefferson and his slave who was a zillion years younger than he was.
“Thomas Jefferson and his slave who was a zillion years younger than he”
Prove It .
At the time of Moore's "transgression", 14 was the age of consent in Alabama. Unsavory if true (which is highly doubtful) but not illegal.
Same in TN, grandma married at 14 to grandpa who was 20 yrs older, big family, to many girls/boys ratio for farm work. Girls married early back then. Just at the end of the Great Depression. And they had 6 girls, 2 boys, only the girls married between 16-19, and the men were at least 10 yrs older. 1 boy died in his early 20’s the other was a “slow” learner, and never married or dated until he hit his 60’s.
Look at mohamad he married a 6 yr old.
Go back further, and they were betrothed in the cradle at birth, and married as soon as the female had her first menses. Royalty married 5 yr olds to 20 yr olds.
People really should read HISTORY BOOKS.
Before DNA testing early marriage for females was a better assurance of legitimate heritage. Boys married later because they did puberty later and they had to show an ability to support a wife and children.
Whereas Bill Clinton's forcible rapes...
(Democrat crickets)
He's one of five Democrats running in the primary. If he wins that and heads to the 2018 election as the party's candidate then you have grounds for comparison with Moore.
“fell in love with his future wife at the age of 14.”
Arranged marriage. He was introduced to her when he was 14.
He was seldom home during the marriage and she died at the age of 50.
And Ted Kennedy’s dead girlfriend!!!
It was NOT an “Arranged Marriage.” yes he met her when he was 14. They were immediately attracted to one another and when the feeling were still intact, they were allowed to marry.
She was devoted to him and even joined him when he was imprisoned with their children. Their son was named for George Washington. He believed in the American fight for freedom and they were separated for the duration of the Revolution, but one can’t criticize a marriage when the husband/father is away for extended spells. Anyone in the military of any country can attest to that fact.
Her age at the time of her death is completely irrelevant. The life span of women at that time was less than hers. He carried her picture until his death.
Ever hear of Romeo and Juliet? She was 13.
“In Alabama, it was common place. ”
Not really ...
“It was NOT an Arranged Marriage. ”
LOL. What are you smoking?
