Just a lot of bluster, nothing will come of this accept higher oil prices. In fact there may be a closed door agreement to escalate threats in order to escalate oil prices, win - win for both of them.

That would not be a new tactic for the US. The US did that in WW1 basically until the Lusitania and partially in WW2 until Pearl Harbor. The US entered both wars only when the British treasury was drained.

Trump really should have by now pushed for more refineries to build in the U.S., and fewer boutique blends...if we really want to be free from OPEC oil that is what is needed.

Too many of our sons and daughters have already died for that hell hole. And nothing has changed. Probably never will. I hope Trump sees that and get us out of there. Looking back taking out Saddam was a huge mistake.

Through the years, there have been periodic reports that Saudi Arabia financed the Pakistan nuclear program and had a number of those weapons in storage there. If that is the case, they would quite likely use them against Iran if it became necessary.

I figured that given their money and reputation for not doing their own work (and fighting) that aside from any Sunni allies that they might go that route.
