Having been a teenage girl myself and having two daughters I am no fan of predatory males. I find this type of behavior to be very serious and bad.
But I’m not convinced it actually happened. I genuinely don’t believe it. I don’t find the claimant or the claim to be credible.
I give the same leeway to liberals. George Takei is currently being accused of sexual assault in the current Me Too hysteria. I think he’s probably innocent. He is a homo he flirted with a homo they got drunk he tried to do it. I find the whole scenario repulsive and I wish it was illegal but I don’t think he “raped.”
Harvey Weinstein I assume is guilty. Too many consistent and believable accusers. Bill Cosby I think is guilty same reason. And Cos was a conservative favorite.
Roy Moore is perfectly innocent as far as I’m concerned. If these kinds of baseless accusations can sway elections then we live in a banana republic. Anyone can say anything.
1. The number of allegations
2. The credibility of the accusers
3. The amount of corroborating details
4. The length of time that has passed.
5. Disqualifying motivations by the accuser.
I mean, how else can we evaluate these kind of claims? The length of time that has passed is common to many of these kind of claims, and is somewhat understandable. But, even that falls short because sexual harassment 'came out of the closet' in the 1990's.
Given that, according to my evaluation, Corfman's claims fall short, and I believe that the benefit of doubt has to go to Moore.
I am with you, three daughters and two grand daughters so far. I am against predatory males also. That being said, last night I said to self, what was I doing in 1977? I couldn’t remember who I was working for. Nothing there a blank. The time 38 years just doesn’t work for me. The WaPo doesn’t work for me. McCain doesn’t work for me. McConnell doesn’t work for me. The RNC doesn’t work for me. Oh by the way, what is the evident?

I find the word “predatory” to be the extreme worst of defining males seeking females. Just as many things are judged “on a scale of 1 to 10”, so are males looking for females. If 10 is the worst, I would say I was a 1 in grade school (not at all interested), then a 2 in middle school (kinda interested in being friends). But starting high school I was probably a 3 (wanting a girl friend, but too shy to work for that goal).
By graduation I was probably a 5; quite comfortable being friends with girls, but was determined to find the right girl). By the time I was 21 yrs old, I had dated enough girls ( all legal age) I was starting to wonder if I would ever find a smart, pretty, and virtuous girl. By the time I was 23 (probably a 6 by then), I was thinking I might have to date girls that were as young as 17 to find a pretty one that was still a virgin, but then I met my future wife who was almost 21.
Back in high school (45 yrs ago) I remember an 8th grade girl that could have easily have passed for a senior. She was physically mature enough, and wore her mother’s makeup and clothes, to where she could fool someone that didn’t know her. She was reportedly very “active” by the end of her first year in HS.
If you want to see a preacher get tough on bad teenage behavior, I recommend Gino Jennings. He regularly hammers the black community (young, old, and in between) for bad behavior, and poor choice a clothing. He can be found on YouTube.
