These crackpot theories are designed to put you to sleep, while Mueller and his band of Clinton/Obama staff loyalists continue to build their impeachment case against Trump.

rats leaving a sinking ship??

It's been sinking for a while, and reports are Podesta was been planning to leave for about six months already. The main reason Is because hard core Democrats are almost completely out of power right now, therefore hard core Democratic lobbyists don't have much of an audience.

Wonder if there is some connection to Saudi purge. Somehow, I just think it’s got something to do with it. The timing.

‘Mueller won’t touch any Democrats. The investigation is totally corrupt and partisan. The Deep State makes everything suspect.’

Close to true. He will harass a few Democrat bit players to put a thin veneer of bipartisanship on his witch hunt. On all the significant indictments, however, I agree with you: they will be whoever Mueller can ensnare while harming Trump the most.

yes the Saudi swamp was purged last weekend and their funding dried up. Both Podesta Group and Vin Weber's lobbying companies are specified in Manafort / Gates indictments and Trump tweeted (on 10/31), "The biggest story yesterday, the one that has the Dems in a dither, is Podesta running from his firm. What he know about Crooked Dems is.... earth shattering. He and his brother could Drain The Swamp, which would be yet another campaign promise fulfilled. Fake News weak!"

[Mueller] will harass a few Democrat bit players to put a thin veneer of bipartisanship on his witch hunt.

Exactly right. Salon.com has already written an article stating in their opinion it would actually be helpful if Podesta did get indicted, for that very reason. They know he has no real ties to Clinton anyway, as John Podesta's leaked e-mails showed about all the two brothers ever actually talked about was pizza and pasta.

Agree! Someone mused that John might get indicted along with his brother. That will never happen. Anybody with close ties to Hillary is strictly off limits.

He may do just enough so the Democrats can claim total vindication. Case closed, just like Hillary claims whenever Bill’s crimes are brought up.

Trump on AF1: "Trump blasted former U.S. intelligence officials by name, including former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former FBI Director James Comey. "I mean, give me a break, they are political hacks," Trump said, according to White House pool reports. He was discussing the U.S. intelligence community's conclusion that Russia sought to influence the 2016 election in favor of Trump. So you look at it, I mean, you have Brennan, you have Clapper and you have Comey," he continued. "Comey is proven now to be a liar and he is proven now to be a leaker.”

This VERY interesting. All the lefty outlets have articles today about this — NY Times, CNN, Washington Post, etc. — on a Saturday, of course, when no one’s looking. But the simple fact that it’s there doesn’t bode well for the Clinton machine and the Podestas.

Talk of potentially closing the Podesta Group marks a dramatic downfall of one of K Street's most iconic and well-connected firms. In its heyday...

Most iconic? Gimme a break.

The Podesta boys backed progressive 'victim-hood' politics for the same reason Harvey Weinstein did - thought it gave him a 'a pass' from the gullible press.

For Weinstein a pass to rape young women - and to bully others.

The Podesta boys are protecting assets... what they've always done. The 'progressive BS' was cover - same as Weinstein... the press and FBI would leave them alone... Corrupt bullies... jerks.

Period.

The problem I have with that is it’ll be completely transparent that it’s all political. If there’s several (or more) indictments and no democrats among them it undermines the entire thing. It’s just too obvious.

If Mueller left the FBI because he was sick and tired of being told to ignore things he didn’t want to...I could see a man with integrity wanting to take this on, regardless of what party people are affiliated with. It would actually make him the perfect person to do so. The media has assumed that him being a democrat means that he’ll only be coming after republicans, because that’s what they do.

It would also make sense to hire a bunch of democrats as part of the team if you knew ahead of time the things that had been going on and that many democrats were behind them. It would build credibility.

I can’t imagine he would disgrace himself by being an obviously corrupt and partisan investigator. It would also hurt his case to any jury.

Maybe I’m engaging in wishful thinking but it actually makes the most sense. If so, some in the media may also want to watch out...and their jaws may be about to hit the floor.

The company would not be closing if the indictments were actually sealed.
