Republicans are exploring ways to get embattled Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore’s name off the ballot, including floating the possibility of changing the date of next month’s special election in the wake of years-old allegations of sexual misconduct against Moore.

Some party members are reportedly considering getting Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) to move the date of the Dec. 12 special election to early next year, according to The New York Times. Based on Alabama law, it’s too late to remove Moore’s name from the ballot this close to Election Day.

Moore, a former state Supreme Court chief justice, is facing wide backlash over allegations of inappropriate sexual misconduct involving a 14-year-old girl in 1979 when he was 32 years old

Moore’s accuser has already been exposed as part of the “Resist” movement, and a Hillary supporter.

What did Trump do when all the charges came against him. He trotted out Juanita Broderick and Paula Jones.

We also need to compare the Romney and McConnell words when the charges came against Trump.

I think I am done voting. Pointless. Let’s go down the rat hole. F it.

I honestly think I'm done voting "R". They're dead to me. The Repubics are the party of homoerotic Mitch McConnell.

They despise their base. It is insane. I think I’d rather vote for an honest socialist than a globalist cheap labor express party candidate. It’s all depressing in a way. A year ago I had hope. Now I hope for a Civil War. Let’s get this s___ done.

“GOP want a Democrat to win so Trump can be impeached”

The only thing that stands between President Trump and removal is the fact that Ryan (Romney) needs 25 GOP Members to vote with all 193 Democrats to send Articles to the Senate.

There are 19 GOP senators who would vote for removal tonight - hell, there are probably 30. The number of Democrats in the Senate is of no importance for this issue.

not a good idea.

if you people are too stupid to realize this is a political ploy, then you’re too stupid to run the party. Resign.

I think you are correct. The GOP is behaving in a way to lose both the House and the Senate. Then the Uniparty can move to impeach and try to remove Trump. The GOPe desperately wants this, but will then sit back and disclaim responsibility.

They don’t need a demoncrat in the seat to impeach. They have the votes now. They’re just looking for a good reason.

While the GOPe are busy trying to help the Democrats take back both houses of Congress President Trump is organizing the world to take out the trash.

There are things going on around the world that I have not seen the likes of in my 70 years on this earth.

The GOPe and the Democrats are afraid of what will be exposed when the swamp is drained. But while they are busy trying to block President Trump he seems to be getting his ducks lined up. We are certainly living in interesting times.

Equally believable that McConnell set up Moore as did the Dems.

Repub leadership floating a ‘write in’?
Total insanity.
That would split the Repub vote and 110% guarantee a Dem win.

Seems the Repub leadership works for the Dems.
