I fly about once a week. Put your cell phone, wallet and any metals in your hand bag or back pack through the scanner, then reload your pockets on the other side.

Easy peasey and safe.

I fly across the country every few months. Every time I have a wallpaper knife (smaller version of a box cutter) in my purse; they have never noticed it.

I always fly first/business class (Delta) and for some reason I always am "TSA pre-check", meaning I get the fast line, don't need to remove shoes or jacket, etc. So, someone up to no good simply needs to purchase a first class ticket and their scrutiny is much less. Swell.

When I get to my destination, I frequently stop at a Wal-Mart. They sell a cheap pocketknife in the Sporting goods section for $1.97. I use it at needed then throw it away at the airport.

Last week, I just handed it to the TSA employee.

The only problem is that they are packaged so that you need a knife to open the knife.

The TSA exists to condition Americans into accepting the unacceptable.

I know a guy whose son was turned down, for employment, by TSA. Where does one go after that? The kid had nothing beyond a high school education and a spotty work record.
Not sure where he is now but he really embarrassed his parents.

A few months ago I flew to Mexico City with a knife in my pocket. I remembered to take my gun out of my pocket but forgot about the knife. Didn’t remember until I was passing through customs.

Lots of muzzl'ems?

Hello, mohamhead, do you have any weapons in your carry on?

Yes, mohamhead, I have a Uzi and a lot of ammo. I am on a special mission. The next two in line, mohamhead and mohamhead are with me. They have the same carry on as I do. Those Americans are so stupid.

Yes they are, mohamhead, have a nice jihad.

“Airport screeners working for the “badly” run Transportation Security Administration (TSA) >>>> reportedly failed to detect weapons more than 70 percent of the time
in undercover tests — but that massive failure rate is actually an improvement from a similar test two years ago”

Right up there with Baltimore Schools, and schools out in Kalifornicate percentage wise of adequacy. What’s characteristic of these things? DIMWITOCRATS !
