I’ve never flew Delta, and I never flew Spirit and by your description I wouldn’t fly Spirit either. The worst experience I had though was in March of 1975 when I flew from Chicago to Germany with Lufthansa. You would not believe how unfriendly the flight attendant were. I swore I would never fly with that airline.

Ah, it’s a shame you had a bad experience like that.

We flew Alaska recently too, and had a good experience with them. After the flight, my son, the social media junkie, immediately tweeted “Alaska Airlines—four stars—would fly again!” To which Alaska Airlines responded that they are glad we enjoyed the flight and look forward to seeing us again soon.

My worst experience was with Virgin Airlines, flying from Brussels to London.
First the plane was delayed.
Then it was cancelled.
Then, after about four hours delay, they got us on to a new plane and flew us to London.
Without our baggage.
All they gave us was a drink voucher.
I couldn’t take out on my rage the Virgin airlines service girls, but I will never, ever, fly Virgin airlines again. Their service stinks on ice.
