Based on the express constitutional power of the Houses of Congress to expel bad-apple lawmakers (1.5.2), the uniparty (Democrats & Republicans) should include the power to expel bad-apple members from their respective party platforms imo.

Also, from another thread …

Regardless of politically correct, yes-voting RINOs who claim to want to overhaul tax code, such RINOS are probably thankful for no-voting RINO senators who have been killing Trump’s MAGA-supporting legislation.

In fact, since two-year term House RINOs have more to lose in 2018 elections by not passing Obamacare repeal and tax reduction bills, consider that the House is passing “hot potato” bills to no-voting Senate RINOs whose jobs are more secure because of six year Senate terms.

Next, patriots are reminded that they need to finish the job that they started in the 2016 elections by electing Pres. Trump.

More specifically, patriots need to make sure that there are plenty of state sovereignty-respecting, Trump-supporting candidates on the 2018 primary ballots, and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to D.C. on election day.

Racist to challenge Obama - McCain knew it, Romney knew it. Misogynist to challenge the Stewed cabbage, PIAPS as well.

McCain might just be the guy whom the RINOs have chosen to kill the bill that they don’t want but have to vote for. McCain is obviously not running again, so he has no vulnerability.

“Can anyone ever think of a time when he actually voted or supported any Republican proposal?”

The GOP (purported) desire and proposal to repeal the Affordable Care act passed in 2009 is a good, recent example of his infernal duplicity.
Along with the other predictable turncoats he voted against it, but only because they knew the `rats had the votes.
Then they went home and crowed about opposing it to the voters and moaned about it for seven years. But when they had a chance to do what they said they were absolutely dying to do, the usual suspects—McCain in the lead—refused to pull the trigger.
Juan is what I scraped off my shoe with a stick earlier today after mowing the yard. Yesterday was a harbinger. No more RINOs. We’ve got enough Democrats who will stab us in the front.

McCain not withstanding, this “Bill” is the oligarchys attempt to cash in on the GOP majority and steal everything not nailed down.

Doubling the standard deduction means nothing to someone who itemizes and sends the IRS a check or gets a small refund (people who actually pay taxes while at the same time paying a mortgage and sending their kids to college).

People that plan how much tax to have withheld, and are not interested in giving the government an interest free loan all year.

If you have a mortgage, pay tuition, pay state sales taxes, and have a couple of kids that you claim as exemptions, you will be paying a LOT more.

The GOP MF’s want to mess with struggling middle class families but give corporations a huge tax cut windfall that won’t trickle down in any meaningful way to wage slaves.

Big business is writing this bill, NO WAY is this good for the middle class, and if you finally make it to the upper middle class, well, the government is all set to take all of that extra cash that you made.

Trump is talking about cutting taxes and the degenerates running the RNC are getting ready to try and shove it up his ass by passing a bill that SCREWS MIDDLE CLASS FAMILIES.

Trump needs to do us all a favor and drop a MOAB on Capital Hill during a full session, the CORRUPT THIEVING CONGRESS is dysfunctional, unreformable, and a direct enemy of the PRODUCTIVE CLASS.

I made lots of phone calls for McCain -Sarah Palin in 2008 so of course I voted for him.

In 2016 there was no phone bank for Trump where I live. Instead I spent my time at Trump HQ assembling yard signs. People would come by to pick up 10-20-30 for their neighbors.

I’m afraid that if we wait until after the mid-terms, we will no longer have a House majority. I think that if we can’t pass a meaningful tax cut before the midterms, Republicans of all shades will rebel and we will end up with a Congress of Dems. Forget any tax cut. Trump will then spend the next two years of his term fighting impeachment.

Do you understand the “budget resolution” process that allows us to pass this without a Dem filibuster? Can we pass this next year, before the elections.

I hate to wish McCain ill, but I doubt he will survive his illness. We may have a replacement for him at some point in 2018.

McCain, leader of the debt-ridden, socialist NIMBYs who want to keep getting their socialist deductions for being the favorites of the mortgage banksters and medical racket. The vampires have sucked the life out of the whole economy without producing anything but misery.

Kill those deductions, and simplify tax filings. If you want tax cuts, get them either from directly lowering taxes or expanding the standard deduction.

Yep. Senators trading votes is one of the oldest beltway con jobs.
