She thought she was very clever with her “gotcha” question.
Trump made her look like a fool, in a nice way.
Quit with the bull$!t already. He could have failed 10 background checks and still have got guns to kill these people.
Someone should have reminded the reporter that there was no need for “extreme vetting on guns” - the plain old normal regulations that already exist would have prevented this psycho from buying guns if they’d been followed.
Trump shouldve asked him if he believes we should extremely vet everyone before they can exercise their constitutional rights. Maybe start administering IQ tests at the polls.
“I cannot spare this man; he *fights*!”
Sssh - couching the facts in this way disarms the Democrats of much of their support for further gun bills. Let us not inform them of their error just yet - their main talking point in the immediate aftermath was a demand for more background checks and closing the ‘gun show loophole’. Since the facts have been stated in a way to discredit both proposals, they’ve basically shut up and mostly given up.
Do you want to be totally, completely factually correct with the liberals? Or do you want to *win* against the liberals? Choose; you cannot have both at this time.
We already have “extreme vetting” for gun purchases; unfortunately, this was AN EPIC GOVERNMENT FAIL!
Good grief, what an idiot reporter :-/
I remember riding the school bus with kids that had 22 single-shot rifles on their laps....it was for gun safety class. It was considered quite normal at the time.
And EVERY boy had a pocket knife on him...and some of the girls as well.
My grandpa told me about the time he ordered a machine gun from Sears. They MAILED the Thompson to him from Chicago. Imagine that!
It’s that wonderful 2nd amendment...the left would love to disarm us but the founders were wise :-)
I would have asked him, “Do you support the ability of terrorists to come in this country and kill your family?”
When will there be extreme vetting of news producers?
Fast & Furious was an even bigger tragedy and more epic failure because the US government (Obama and Holder) deliberately permitted narcoterrorists acquire firearms which were then used in a variety of crimes and murders.
where does it say extreme vetting in the constitution’s 2nd amendment?..
But he still could have looked on the internet as to how to make bombs, and used a homemade bomb to have taken out the entire congregation along with the structure. If someone is committed to exercising evil, they will find a way if the will is strong enough.
There should be very little vetting, if any.
That’s not a reporter eager to report an event.
That’s a political provocateur trying to create an event.
Yes sir, Vlad.
Or, he could have driven a loaded dump truck through the congregation as it left church.
People murder people, Without human involvement, inanimate objects, whether guns or vehicles, do not.
I think people in the media should be subjected to IQ tests and extreme background checks. We definitely need to screen people running for office with extreme background checks. Anyone caught lying on the background checks is immediately kicked out of the country. Send them to Mexico or Canada.
