The Daily Mail reported:
The Texas church shooter had family connections to the church where he killed at least 26 on Sunday in what is now the worst mass shooting in the states history.
Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackett told the Today show Monday morning that Devin Patrick Kelleys ex in-laws attended the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, where he unleashed a firestorm of bullets during Sunday morning service.
It was previously reported that Kelleys wife Danielle was a former teacher at the school, and that her mother Michelle was a parishoner.
But the sheriffs revelation that it was his ex in-laws who attended the church indicates that he and Danielle may have had a falling out.
Sheriff Tackett said the family was not at the church at the time of the shooting, but spoke to investigators yesterday after the massacre.

I figured that part out yesterday when it was reported his mom-in-law had a PO Box in the town.
Because Vegas is a major cover up by the government....wait, Im not allowed to say that around here.
Family grudge. Lost his family due to his being an abuser, now he needed to go kill them as revenge. Sounds about right for a worker of evil...
He could have killed them at home. So that’s not the REAL motive.....and they’re all still alive....as far as we know.
This mandates taking a closer look at atheism.
Have the press or authorities made contact with the ex-wife yet?
It coud only have been a grudge or anger at someone at the church. I figured that.
Agreed, the Vegas shooting is being deliberately swept from the news because SOMETHING went on that the deep state wants to hide. For sure. We still have way too many significant questions re that shooting.
Militant atheist.
Bill Maher wannabe.
That is odd.
This came out yesterday and if true, the killer was an antifa bastard:

Yes, he didn’t know their vehicle by sight? I find that hard to reconcile. But crazy doesn’t need a reason to act.
Still could have been a motive. If this man was deranged enough he could have done the mass murder as a way to mock God and mock their belief in God to the extent that “God couldn’t save them from my gunfire”. It’s not new, but this person was clearly hateful, irrationally so, and given how casually he would kill people just for proving his point. It wouldn’t be beyond him to just murder a bunch of people and hope that his ex and former in-laws ended up among the dead. I don’t think he cared if he killed a specific target.
“I figured that part out yesterday when it was reported his mom-in-law had a PO Box in the town.”
Yes. That wad pretty clear.
And then it came out that he was a radical atheist.
Among other thing.
Maybe he went there first and they were not at home so he thought the next place was the church. Being that I have yet to see a listing of those who were killed or wounded, is it not too soon to speculate?
Not neccessarily. Maybe someone in the family was sick so they stayed at home.
The guy was a devout atheist. He belonged to several atheist groups on Facebook. Obviously he hated Christians and was wanting to prove that point.
Because Vegas is a major cover up by the government....wait, Im not allowed to say that around here.
Apparently a non-Muslim, so info flows like water. No cover up attempts.
I knew it was going to come down to this being the issue with this idiot. My gosh ... why not just move on with your life? No need to kill a lot of innocents just because you got dumped.
