Somehow it seems to me the shooter has a connection to someone in Sutherland Springs. Why else would a person from north east of San Antonio drive 25 miles to a small town church and try to kill the whole church congregation. He could easily have just shot up a church closer to his home if he just wanted to kill people in general.

I read reports that his mother in law lives there and is a member of the church. Ugly divorce he blames her for?

“Somehow it seems to me the shooter has a connection to someone in Sutherland Springs. Why else would a person from north east of San Antonio drive 25 miles to a small town church and try to kill the whole church congregation.”

From Heavy.com -
“According to The Daily Beast, “Kelley was married and Kelley’s mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address.”

But it might also make sense if someone to wanted shoot up a church someplace where there wasn’t a large, immediate LE presence. Especially since he tried to make a getaway.
But I suspect the in-law connection was the motivating factor for this location.

One thing seems certain. If he did not have a personal grudge or connection to that church, then this attack was 100% about murdering Christians.

Being a coward at heart, he likely thought he was going to escape. That’s easier to do in a small town with the country roads than in a big city.

He hated the deplorables who were living peaceful lives and worshiping in a small country church on Sunday morning. He was a self-centered, selfish loser and bastard who could not achieve anything on his own and to make a name for himself he defaults to going out and killing as many people as he can before taking his own life. He was likely agitated and instigated by Hitlery and liberal mainstream media who despise and look with contempt on rural, honest, down to earth, patriotic citizens. There you have it in a nutshell and this is his epitaph.
