With State Senate Win Tuesday, Democrats Could Control Entire West Coast

Democrats are poised to control the entire West Coast with a win in a Washington State Senate race on Tuesday that would end Republicans’ one-seat majority in that chamber. The New York Times notes that the race for the suburban 45th district could create a “blue wall” from the Mexican to the Canadian border, if Democrats win as expected on Tuesday.

The race bits Democrat prosecutor Manka Dingra, 43, against Republican policy consultant Jinyoung Lee Englund, 33. The district backed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race.

In what could be an ominous sign for Republicans in 2018, Dingra has harnessed the energy of the anti-Trump “resistance” to boost her campaign. Alternatively, Englund’s struggles could be read as a lesson for Republicans in how not to run: she has attempted to distance herself from the president, touting the fact that she did not vote for him, the Times notes.

Englund has argued that voters should beware of total Democratic control of the state, especially as Democrat governor Jay Inslee has suggested unifying Washington, Oregon, California, and parts of Canada in a carbon taxation system.

an even worse problem on the left coast is the liberals don’t stay there. they wreck the states they are in and then move to other states and wreck them. they have already wrecked Colorado and New Mexico.

Democrats are poised to control the entire West Coast with a win in a Washington State Senate race...

Sad it is, when the RNC abandons states without so much as a whimper.

The Left goes all out to win every election. The RNC phones it in, with two Dixie cups and 3500 miles of limp string.

There are currently 25 states that are GOP-controlled (Gov, Senate, House), and only 5 states that are Dem-controlled. This would be #6, if they get it.

Strange how the MSM hasn't mentioned anything about that yet... particularly since it was 16-13, Dems leading, way way way back in 2009.

Sounds like we need a North/South wall as much as an East/West wall.

“Potent geographical and psychological milestone” Hmmm. Besides being a pretty dumb mixed metaphor, where’s the basis for this analysis? As a Californian I can tell you the unhappy results of one party rule by the rats, but how a very blue state turning one click bluer tells us anything about national politics is beyond me.

The lib portion of those states only goes inland maybe 12 miles.

The center and east parts are deep NormieVille.

They have almost ruined Nevada and Arizona too.

The RATS, with the mindless, selfish help of the RAT voters, have FLOODED the left coast with illegals, bums, criminals, and other misfits. It has been successful in building the urban RAT voter roles to the point of no return as we see in my state, Mexifornia.

I am old enough to remember when this state was the NUMBER ONE model in America...in demographics, financial, safety, education, and every other metric. It was a Republican conservative government that worked for the people and cared. Now it has been destroyed by DEMOCRATS and ranks in lowest few in the nation in every important metric.

Mexifornia says it all.
