What happens if you are completely innocent, but can’t afford to pay for a full trial plus multiple appeals?

Now, even if you are innocent, you can’t afford to settle either, because if you do, you will lose your job!

Madness. Allegations plead to a court and the right to settle a case, by the defendant, in order to keep his job, or to spare his family, or to save his money from litigation expenses costs him his job?

Not justice at any level.
