". . . the capacity and capability of Jones Act vessels to meet Puerto Rico’s present and future needs."

I remember during the Gulf war we no longer made night vision binoculars and could only get them from two manufacturers in France. Neither could supply as they were "too busy". The only reason we got them was that Bush leaned on Mitterand, who leaned on the suppliers, who suddenly found they could supply them after all.

We're too dependent on others as it now stands, suppose, without the Jones Act, foreign shippers were "too busy"?

There’s plenty of globalist FRee traitors who would just LOVE to outsource, or outright sell our domestic transportation and logistics infrastructure to the cheapest foreign third world communist bidder. Shareholder value, even if it destroys the country. These idiots think that they can hide behind a wall of money.

The “sell your soul to the devil to make a buck” crowd.

I’ve dealt with these kind of people before. Think clintons and their uranium one scandal.

Capitalism is great, right up until it’s highjacked by mega crony new age oligarchs.

The US Army and Marines are now wholly dependent on a foreign manufacture for an updated version of the recoilless rife ... made in Sweden.

Congress supports the Jones Act because the maritime lawyers have bought them.

Here we are on November 13th...no news updates...things must be going too well in Houston and Puerto Rico as the MSM is quiet...

The electrical grid must be going well in PR also.
