“IF all Republicans at ALL levels of government had campaigned on issues that helped the American CITIZENS & had followed thru with those campaign promises since Ronald Reagan was in office, there would NOT have been a reason to elect Trump.”

I tell my parents EXACTLY the same thing. Trump is the RESULT of the Republican Party totally ignoring, in fact spitting on, their voter base.

I think that I can speak for most of us regarding first hearing of Trump. We were like “why do we need Trump, we have a huge field already, and he’s a clown”.

...and then he went down that escalator, said what he did about immigration and the wall, and we all cheered - and we figured that most of the other Republicans running (not Jeb or Linda, but most others) would say something like “Trump has a point, we really do need to tighten up our southern border”.

But what did we hear from people who we THOUGHT agreed with us on the need for border control? We heard that “Trump is monster and must be stopped.”

OUR LEADERS didn’t have 5 minutes to discuss Trump’s issues, OUR ISSUES...instead they attacked the person - and thus we learned everything we needed to know about the people running our party...and it will NEVER be the same.

Things have sure changed from when all the bush-bots were running around FR extolling the virtues of that idiot GWB and his asshat handler Carl Rove. The Bush family should go into the trash bin of history as just another silver-spoon family sloppily feeding at the public trough.

Remember when Bush43’s amnesty push caused rank & file donations to dry up to the point where the RNC had to close down the telemarketing operation?

“Reagan then refused to be seen with the president in public.”

Actually, I got to shake Reagan’s hand, and Bush Sr.’s hand, and Governor Wilson’s hand (he forced me to). It was at a rally in Orange County (I think) in Sept. 1992. But it was noted that Reagan spent the entire speech blasting (then-candidate) Bill Clinton. What I remember the most was Reagan saying how Clinton avoided that area of the LA basin because of the Santa Ana winds, so he didn’t want to be anywhere near a ‘draft’. Something like that - great line. That may have been Reagan’s last public appearance...less than 2 years later it was announced that Reagan had Alzheimer’s.

But I agree with your premise, Bush literally ATTACKED Reagan when he called for a “Kinder, Gentler, America” (just as 8 years of Reagan was finishing up). It was absolutely SICKENING.

This is a perfect example of why the 1st Amendment is so important and why it’s so important not to squelch free speech. It’s invaluable in helping to identify our enemies and what they are thinking.

It already had collapsed. Trump was the only Republican who could have won and they fought him tooth and nail.

They are a non-entity is large parts of the country. Largely due to mass-immigration that the bush family allowed and promoted.

Trump is trying to remake the Republican party into a party for normal Americans while the Democrats are becoming more fringe every day.

... building, a party ... committed to removing boundaries to trade and immigration, promoting democracy and civil society and asserting a robust American leadership role in the world...

Removing boundaries to trade = trade deals that benefit the 'elites' while hurting the American People.

Immigration = flooding the country with cheap illegal immigrants to keep wages low to help 'elites' while hurting American citizens.

Promoting democracy - joining in every war possible to keep elites in the Military Industrial Complex fully employed - while killing off young Americans.

Leadership in the world = American elites getting their butts kissed the world over for giving away the hard earned tax dollars taken from American citizens.

Eff the insensitive elitist jerks known as the Bushes...

I did a search and all I got was links to Rense, Beforeitsnews, and David Icke type websites.

Nothing of any substance.

The only thing in common is their (Barbara & Aleister’s) focus on globalism and self centeredness.

If the GOP had stayed true to the conscience of America, real Americans wouldn’t be lighting the fuse.
The CONSTITUTION, first, last, and always.

The two feckless, establishment elitists more responsible for destroying the party of Reagan than anyone else complain about Trump.

This is how you get more Trump.
