This morning, a bombshell was dropped when Politico published an excerpt from former interim Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile’s new book — in which Brazile claims that Hillary Clinton and former DNC leadership “rigged the [party’s] nomination process” against Bernie Sanders.
During an interview today on CNN’s The Lead, one of the leading progressive lions of the Democratic Party, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), was asked point blank if she believed that Brazile’s charge was true — that the nomination process was rigged during the 2016 Democratic primary. She answered succinctly and conclusively.
“Yes,” she said.
Prior to this stunning admission, Warren was asked by anchor Jake Tapper if she was shocked by Brazile’s revelation. The Massachusetts Senator said it was a “real problem” and that the party needed to be held “accountable.” As for current DNC chair Tom Perez, Warren said his handling of the matter will serve as a test.
“Either he’s going to succeed by bringing Bernie Sanders and Bernie Sanders’ representatives into this process and they’re going to say it’s fair, it works, we all believe it,” she stated. “Or he’s going to fail. And I very much hope he succeeds.”

If Warren wants to win the presidency she would have to distance herself from herself. Come 2020, Hillary will be a just a historical footnote (hopefully an orange jumpsuit-bedecked one).

Au contraire. I think it makes it more likely she gets nailed. The party needs to get rid of her, and make her look like the crook she is in order to rebound. She can no longer be its face, and if she is she'll further destroy what little is left.
Within weeks, months at the most, they'll serve her up on a platter.
She has become toxic to the dims. She’s sucking all the air up. This is an orchestrated hit on her.
