Wednesday on “CNN Newsroom,” CNN legal analyst Paul Callan weighed in on President Donald Trump’s “really shocking” comments regarding the suspected New York terrorist.
Following the attack, Trump referred to the suspected terrorist, Sayfullo Saipov, as an “animal” deserving of the death penalty.
Callan said the president is “suggesting” that the suspect should be taken out and shot instead of going through the justice system.
“I would say it’s amazing but it’s not, because every day he says things that no other president has ever said, and that are really shocking,” Callan told host Brooke Baldwin.

This being said, there should be a special exemption in national defense policy that when a terrorist is dead, they should be interred with other pigs, so they don’t get lonely.

Why make the inductive leap that the "animal" should be shot? Maybe Trump wants him to be adopted, like a cat or dog. Or eaten, like a cow or fish. Or, maybe President Trump was just using a fairly standard pejorative, implying that a person who wantonly kills innocents lacks the empathy that is normal within human beings. (Although, a persuasive argument could be made that, in most cases, animals only kill for food, or to protect themselves and their offspring.)
They tried to get Major Andre pardoned. Washington said he’s a traitor....”hang’em”. There was no hesitation.

Maybe decorum held back the president from verbalizing various obscenities which many of us are thinking, to describe the perpetrator.
Now I look forward to the liberals suggestions of what to do. I expect that they will renew calls for various barricades which can be set up, to prevent trucks driving down bike paths or sidewalks. They will not address the poison of radical Islam. They will focus only on the mechanics of how this happened, without regard to the evil behind such attacks.
